Once the bow, sight, rest and arrows are set, a few small accessories make hunting and practice easier. This page covers three: limb legs, a quiver on the bow and a target you can shoot broadheads into. Specs come from the makers' pages as of Oct 10, 2026, and prices are approximate.
Limb legs
The Mathews Engage EXO Limb Legs are a must have for me.
- What they do: Mathews says they balance the bow without the cam or stabilizer touching the ground, and that they're simple and silent.
- Fit: Mathews lists them for the LIFT X, LIFT, LIFT XD and LIFT RS. One retailer notes they don't fit pre-2024 Mathews bows, so check your model.
- Price: $79.99 on Mathews's site.
A quiver on the bow
I run an attached quiver that locks onto the bow, and I love it.
One example is the TightSpot 5-Arrow quiver. TightSpot lists:
- Weight: 9.9 oz
- Length: 19 3/4 inches, with 18 inches from hood to gripper
- Build: aluminum and woven carbon, with individually adjustable arrow wedges
- Adjustment: up, down, forward, back, in and out, to fine-tune balance
- Quick detach
TightSpot also makes the shorter Rise, which it built for treestand hunters. Per its listing, it's 16.5 inches long with 12 inches from gripper to hood, weighs 11.8 oz, and has a hanging hook on the hood.
TightSpot's 5-arrow was about $190 to $198 at archery retailers and $159.95 on Amazon on Oct 10, 2026.
A practice target
My target is the BLOCK 6x6. BLOCK lists:
- Size: 18 by 18 by 16 inches
- Build: Poly Fusion layered foam, with easy arrow removal
- Rated for: field points and broadheads, up to 400 fps with standard diameter arrows
- Six sides with aiming points, and a carry handle
- Price: $149.99 on BLOCK's site
Note: when BLOCK launched the 6x6, it said to use only broadheads on the top and bottom faces. Bowhunting.com reported a 14.75 lb weight at launch.

- A bow scale. The Last Chance Archery Bow Scale 3.0 checks draw weight at home.
- Stabilizers. See stabilizers and counterweights on a budget.
Questions hunters ask
Are limb legs worth it? For me they are a must have. Mathews says its EXO legs keep the cam and stabilizer off the ground.
Is a bow-mounted quiver a problem for accuracy? TightSpot says its design sits tight to the riser to cut torque. That's the maker's claim, and we didn't find independent testing.
Can I shoot broadheads into a foam block? The BLOCK 6x6 is rated for broadheads. Follow BLOCK's guidance on which faces to use.
